Glad you asked! Instant EFT is an INSTANT way for customers to pay you via EFT. Instead of logging onto their bank, adding your payment details, amount, reference number and the name of their first pet, they can pay you via EFT in a couple of clicks. Our Instant EFT option Integrates with the five major banks in South Africa (Standard Bank, Absa, FNB, Capitec, Nedbank), which means that 95% + of your customers are able to access it.

Their money is safe from the prying eyes of fraudsters
Yoco doesn’t store any payment information when someone pays via Instant EFT. Because payments are facilitated by a third party (i.e.: your customer’s bank), their details are protected by their bank’s rigorous safety protocols.
You can give customers the option of paying you via Instant EFT when you use:
- Yoco Invoices
- Yoco Link
- Yoco Payment Page
- And if you have an online store, WooCommerce supports Instant EFT too! All you have to do is make sure you have updated to the latest version.

Here’s how our Instant EFT feature works:
Using our Instant EFT payment option is easy. When your customer clicks on the unique Yoco Link you’ve sent to them (via text, email, WhatsApp, DM, Invoice, or Payment Page), they’ll be able to choose the Instant EFT option, and will be prompted with the following steps:
Select Instant EFT
Select *your bank
Select the relevant ‘linked account’
Payment successful!
